WFPD: Three Suspects Arrested For Tanglewood Home Invasion

Three suspects are behind bars tonight, charged in connection with an early morning home invasion.

18-year-olds Jamal Taylor, Steven Euwins, and Shidavion Bailey have been booked into the Wichita County Jail, charged with Engaging in Criminal Activity/Burglary of a Habitation.

Wichita Falls Police say around 4:30 Thursday morning in the Tanglewood neighborhood in the 1800 block of Brazos, the three men three people broke into a house through a door left open because of the heat. Police say they stole some electronics and jewelry. A mother and a 19-year-old male were inside the home at the time.

Police say the men were fully covered, wearing ski masks, all armed with weapons. Police report before the men left, they assaulted the 19-year-old. He was treated at the hospital.

Two vehicles possibly belonging to the suspects have been impounded.

Police also believe these arrests could clear up other cases.

Sgt. Joe Snyder is warning residents that while they try to cope with the miserable heat, keeping windows and doors open for ventilation can make your home more vulnerable to criminals.

WFPD is confirming detectives are still collecting evidence from the scene of the home invasion in the neighborhood area of Tanglewood. They are asking nearby residents, especially those living on Brazos Street, to bring forward any information or any items on their property that do not belong to them or seem suspicious to the Police Department. You can reach them through their non-emergency number at (940) 761-7732.
