Thursday the Graham City Council took another step toward banning the sale of "bath salts".
At a council meeting the "bath salts" proposed ordinance was read in public for a second time. It will need a third reading before the council can vote on it. That is expected to happen August 18th. The City wants to ban the "bath salts" because when ingested they produce a similar reaction to cocaine. The salts are often sold in convenience stores. Newschannel Six will continue to follow this story for you. Graham was the fist city in Texoma to ban the sale and possession of K2 and Salvia. Two other synthetic forms of illegal drugs.
