Texoma Woman Arrested For Arson

A suspected arsonist is off the streets and in Wichita County custody.

Wichita County Deputies arrested Teresa Shipman,58, Thursday morning.

Deputies say they got a tip that Shipman planned to start a fire inside her residence in the 2700 block of River Road.

Officials say when they arrived they witnessed Shipman putting items in her car by a home with a fire spreading inside.

Shipman was taken to the county detention center and charged with arson.

    A Fort Worth man is wanted by the Wichita Falls Police Department following an investigation into sexual abuse claims.
