Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program Ending

The Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program is coming to an end and there are only 200 vouchers left.

The cut off period to get the vouchers has been moved to Monday, August 15th.  Seniors can only participate once a year.

You have to be 60 years or older and live inside Wichita Falls Area Food Bank's service area. You also have to be at or below income guidelines:

Household of 1 - $1,679 per month

Household of 2 - $2,268 per month

Household of 3 - $2,857 per month

Then add $589 for each additional family member

There are three places in Wichita Falls where you can get vouchers.

Floral Heights United Methodist Church located at 2214 10th St. Their hours of operation are 9:30 am to 11:00 am Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Trinity Lutheran Church located at 3505 Kemp Blvd. Their hours of operation are 9:00 am to 11:30 am and 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm Mondays and Thursdays.

Wichita Falls Area Food Bank located at 1230 Midwestern Parkway. We will hand out the vouchers between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm.
