Fire Crews Stop A Grass Fire From Getting Out Of Control in Holliday

Fire crews were able to put a grass fire out before the blaze got out of control.

Archer County Emergency Management Coordinator Kelly Desautel says the blaze was started by a cutting torch.

The grass fire started in the 300 block of South College in Holliday.

We were told the fire came close to some houses, but fire crews were able to put get it under control.

Wichita West, Holliday and Bowman Volunteer Fire Departments all responded to the blaze.
