An Amber Alert was issued for 14 year old Andrea Fox Love on Tuesday. Wichita Falls police say a driver who saw the alert on an electronic TX-Dot board recognized the suspect's car parked on the side of Highway 287.

Wichita Falls police found the vehicle close to 8:00 a.m. near Fisher Road. The first officer on the scene reported Fox and Martin were sleeping inside the car.

Police said Fox was not hurt. She was taken into custody for questioning. Her family arrived in Wichita Falls Friday afternoon to take her home to Timpson, TX.

The Amber Alert was issued Tuesday by the League City Police Department. League City is near Houston. League City officials said Fox was staying with her grandparents at their home when she disappeared.

Fox's grandmother spoke with a CBS affiliate in Houston and said, "I went in and told her goodnight and I love her...The next thing I know, my husband is waking us up and saying that Andrea is gone."

Fox's grandmother told police she found a note written by Andrea stating that she was going to New York. The note also read, "Don't look for me, I'm safe. I'll be home in time for school."

Upon further investigation police issued an Amber Alert looking for Fox and James Martin. Martin is a soldier. Officials said he is station at Fort Carson in Colorado.

Police said Martin and Fox are from the same town, and they knew each other through a friend.
