UPDATE: Archer City Repairs Water Line Breaks - Newschannel 6 Now | Wichita Falls, TX

Boil Order Lifted For Archer City Residents

The boil order has been lifted for the City of Archer City.

City staff say lab results have returned, and residents no longer need to boil their water for consumption. The lab tests were issued after a water line busted loose, sending water flowing through the city streets.

City officials still ask residents to observe strict water conservation steps to help make up for the water loss from the main break.

As of Monday afternoon, city crews completed the repairs to the water line from the break over the weekend.  Water pressure is now normal and stable.

Please do not use water for any outside watering.  Water should be used only for cooking, bathing and sanitation purposes only.

You may contact City Hall for more information at 574-4570.
