Vigil Held For Teens Killed In Tragic Jacksboro Hwy Accident

Families of two Texoma teen girls killed in a tragic accident, held a vigil Tuesday night.
The families are remembering Gloria Montoya, 13, and Yeni Lopez, 18. Lopez was pregnant at the time of the crash. The vigil is marking the two month anniversary of the accident that happened on Jacksboro Highway.
Gloria Montoya's father spoke to Newschannel 6, remembering his little girl's life. "A very happy very full of life girl. We loved each other very much and well, God wanted this to happen I guess."
WFPD Officer Teddy Whitefield was involved in that wreck. He has since been suspended. To read more about the measure that took him off of the force for now, click here.
