DALLAS (AP) - A Dallas hospital ordered by the government to improve its operations will have a new leader in 2012.
The board of managers for Parkland Memorial Hospital decided late Tuesday to reassign the CEO, Dr. Ron Anderson, when his contract expires Dec. 31.
The Dallas Morning News reports board members held a closed-door meeting, then announced an
executive leadership consultant would be hired to work with Anderson about his new duties.
Anderson, who's spent more than 30 years with Parkland, declined comment Tuesday night. He turns 65 next month.
