Parkland Hospital Will Learn The Fate Of Medicare This Month

Parkland Memorial Hospital will find out the fate of its Medicare funding by the end of September.
A July inspection found violations in areas like infection control and emergency care, putting its Medicare Funding Program in jeopardy.
The termination date for a follow-up inspection of Parkland has been pushed back to allow state officials time to complete their reports.
If Parkland fails, it would mean the complete loss of its Medicaid for patients.
