Castaway Cove Benefits from Drought

The lack of rain certainly did not put a damper in the attendance at Castaway Cove, in fact it helped. Officials say it was a great year and Monday is the last chance to enjoy a dip in the pool or a steep fall from the cliffhanger before the park shuts its door for the season.

"You know it has been a fabulous season here at Castaway Cove and we have to put it in part to having no rain this summer," said Sales and Marketing Manager Ed Michel. "I know that that's unfortunate for the rest of the community but for the water park business its great. Attendance has been up tremendously thanks to all the good folks from Texoma that have been here to see us."

The park will stay open until 6pm both days with great music performances from live bands. Anyone with a military ID and their family members will receive a discounted price of $10.99
