In New York more than 3 million people enjoyed an annual parade and carnival.

The West Indian American Day Carnival celebrates the history, culture, music and food of the Caribbean islands. However, the fun was stopped by gunshots toward the end of the parade.

Two men were shot and sent to the hospital.  One in critical condition.  Police are still looking for the gunman.
