The Henrietta City Council approved the 2012 city budget Monday night.
The city's tax rate was raised from just over $0.75 per $100 in property value, to $0.7789.
City leaders say that will give the city a small cushion in their $2.8 million budget.
Expected revenue with the tax increase will be just over $3 million in Henrietta.
City officials say that's something they haven't seen in years.
