A Virginia woman, accused of starving her 10-year-old son to death in Oklahoma, has waived a bond hearing.
Candice C. Holloway, 31, of Norfolk appeared before a federal judge on Tuesday.
A federal indictment unsealed last week accused Holloway and her boyfriend of first-degree murder. It said they withheld food from the boy for months until he starved to death on May 5th at Fort Sill,Oklahoma.
The boyfriend, Connell C. Williams, is an Army private at Fort Sill.
Williams was arrested last week at the Army base in Southwestern Oklahoma.
The indictment said the couple was not married, and Williams is not the child's biological father.
