President's Approval Rating Abroad

Fans of President Barack Obama may be fading here in the U-S, but his approval rating among Europeans is sky high.

The Transatlantic Trends 2011 poll shows that 75% of those polled in the European Union approve of President Obama's handling of international issues.

That's much higher than President Bush who scored 20 percent in 2008.
Other European leaders average 54 percent.

A new C-N-N poll of Americans showed disapproval of President Obama at the highest point of his presidency.
