Former Holliday star Zach Stewart started strong in a start for the Chicago White Sox against the Kansas City Royals.
Stewart struck out a pair in three scoreless innings of work, but then gave up five runs in the next two innings to earn the loss. His record falls to 2-5 this season.
Stewart has struggled since pitching a one-hit complete-game win against Minnesota two weeks ago. Stewart has a 4.97 ERA with 44 strikeouts this season.
Former Iowa Park standout Lee Clubb returned two kicks for 41 yards in Colorado State's 28-14 loss to in-state rival Colorado.
The freshman wide receiver was thrown to twice on the offensive end, but was held without a catch for the first time this season.
"We just weren't getting separation. They were pushing us out-of-bounds," Clubb said. "It's something we need to work on; it's nothing we can't change."
Clubb has six catches for 53 yards this season and three kick returns for 69 yards.
