Oil Rig Explodes In Oklahoma No Injuries Reported - KAUZ-TV: Newschannel 6 Now | Wichita Falls, TX

UPDATE: Natural Gas Rig in Oklahoma Still on Fire

Authorities say the natural gas rig in Watonga, Oklahoma is still on fire after exploding last night. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the blast. Watonga is located 60 miles outside of Oklahoma City. A witness said she heard four or five explosions during the night and workers worked on the rig around the clock.

County Sheriff Ricky Ainsworth said all homes within a two-mile radius of the blaze were evacuated. Residents have not been allowed to return home at this time.

No injuries have been reported.
