Dr Pepper Game Of The Week, Week 4

We head to a big six-man matchup for our Dr Pepper Game Of The Week for Week 4, as #1 Throckmorton hosts #3 Dallas Covenant (TAPPS) in a battle of two state finalists.

Throckmorton has been one of the most dominant six-man teams since switching to that level in 2004. The Greyhounds have compiled a 78-12 record, winning the 2005 state championship and advancing to the championship game last year.

The Greyhounds have remained competitive, despite a shrinking enrollment, which had 70 kids last season. Between the varsity and junior varsity teams, 23 kids suit up for Throckmorton. Fourth-year head coach Mike Reed says the program benefits from a 90-percent participation rate.

Dallas Covenant represents Throckmorton's toughest test of the season since a 65-62 over Valley to open the season.
