Lake Level Stay at Drought One Restrictions

The city of Wichita Falls remains at Stage One Drought Restrictions as lake levels continue to hover at the Stage 2 level.

The recent cooler weather and light rain has helped the lakes to remain at their current levels and keep the city in its Stage 1 Drought Watch for 52 consecutive days.

If the combined lake level goes below 50% the city will enact Stage Two Drought Restrictions, which include mandatory water restrictions.

The lake levels are as follows:

KICKAPOO 51.6

ARROWHEAD 54.3

COMBINED 53.6
