A 26 year old man has been arrested, accused of being involved in a smurfing ring.
The Texas Department of Public Safety has been working the smurfing ring between the Metroplex and Wichita Falls.
Officials said Steven Freeman purchased 62 boxes of pseudoephedrine between February and September 2011.
They said Freeman when to the DFW area on 13 separate occasions for the purpose of buying the tablets.
Officials said there is also video surveillance evidence of Freeman buying pseudoephedrine at a pharmacy in Wichita Falls on 4 separate occasions from mid July to late August.
Pseudoephedrine is one of the main ingredients for making methamphetamine.
Freeman was charged with Possession of Certain Chemicals with Intent to Manufacture a Controlled Substance.
