A Texoma man celebrates his 100 year birthday. Oral Buck will hit the century mark on Thursday but he was honored a few days earlier. Presbyterian Manor held a celebration for him. Buck grew up in Montague County and taught in Wichita Falls for forty years, most at WFISD. Buck says he's lucky to be alive after a horse fell on him and shared with us one of his great memories.
"I grew up in the country. I love it yes. We picked cotton and drug a sack behind us and one day the dogs were out with us while we were picking cotton and a dog ran a jackrabbit down the road and I held my cotton sack open and the old rabbit just run right in."
Presbyterian Manor will also honor another resident, Lura Rouzer who will turn 100 hundred, that celebration is set for 2pm on October the 16.
