State Department Issues Travel Alert

The State Department has issued a travel alert warning since the death of Anwar al-Awlaki, an Al Qaida operative. The Obama administration says his death has raised the risk of anti-American violence worldwide. The State Department notes that Anwar al-Awlakii has previously called for attacks against the United States and his supporters could seek revenge since his death. The alert is set to expire at the end of November.
