School Bus Involved In Multi-Vehicle Accident

Newschannel 6 crews is gathering information about a multi-vehicle wreck in Archer County involving a school bus.

The accident happened Tuesday afternoon on FM 1954, about a 1/2 mile east of the Bowman Volunteer Fire Station.

A Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper told Newschannel 6 the bus driver was stopped to drop off a child. A red pickup was stopped behind the bus when a driver in another vehicle, a landscaping truck, hit the back of the red pickup. Officials said the force caused the red pickup to hit the back of the school bus.

None of the children were hurt. Two people in the red pickup were taken to United Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No one in the landscaping truck was hurt.
