Hearing may stop sentencing Of Warden's Wife

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Sentencing may be postponed for the wife of a former Oklahoma prison warden convicted of helping a convicted killer escape.

Bobbi Parker is to be sentenced Thursday for helping Randolph Dial break out of the Oklahoma State Reformatory in 1994. But a new hearing has been scheduled for Thursday afternoon on a defense motion to disqualify Greer County District Judge Richard Darby.

Darby denied the motion on Monday.

Comanche County Judge C. Allen McCall will preside at the rehearing. Attorneys say that could delay Parker's sentencing.

Isaacs has also asked the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals to release Parker on bond pending her appeal. The court has given Darby 10 days to respond.
Prosecutors allege Parker ran off with Dial. Isaacs maintains Dial kidnapped her and held her hostage.
