The #18 Midwestern State Mustang football team is back in action Saturday night at Memorial Stadium, hosting the rival Tarleton State Texans.
The Texans have historically been tough on the Mustangs, who finally beat TSU last year 31-26 to snap a seven-game losing streak, but MSU coach Bill Maskill says he's not interested in history.
"We haven't even talked about it," he said Thursday. "I'm the only coach who's even been here five years."
The game could be played in a steady rain, but Maskill said it won't affect his team's preparations for Tarleton, who runs an air-based offense.
