MSU Celebrates Caribfest

On Friday Midwestern State University Caribbean Students Organization celebrated Caribfest. All kinds of delicious Caribbean cuisine including a festive parade took place. The event unfolded on MSU's Sunwatcher Plaza and all were welcome to attend. The chair of the festival says the event is always a big success.

"They pretty much like all our food. It's different it's a little spicier. So people have been very supportive of Caribfest every year," said Aziza Lake. All profits go to local charities such as  Faith Mission, Patsy's House Children's Advocacy Center and also to a scholarship for a disadvantaged student in the WFISD area to attend MSU their freshmen year.
