Hearing Date for Man Charged with Rooftop Shooting Rescheduled

Jeffery Holden and Courtland Thompson are accused of shooting two other men, from a rooftop, when the two were 18 years old. The incident happened in May of 2009. Courtland Thompson was charged with aggravated assault, deadly conduct discharge firearm. Thompson was indicted in December of 2009, he was scheduled to have his plea and sentencing Friday morning but that hearing date has been reset.

According to police the victims said Holden and Thompson called them over to the Cumberland Home, but the suspects say it was the victims who first threatened to head to the residence to fight. The victims did sustain gunshot wounds but both survived.
