Rain Brings Relief For Lake Levels

The rain is bringing some relief for lakes. Levels are slightly higher because of the rain.

Lakes Arrowhead and Kickapoo levels are now at 54.4%, an increase of 1.9% from a week ago.

The levels keep the city of Wichita Falls in a Stage One Drought Watch Plan. Right now residents are being asked to voluntarily reduce water usage.

If levels reach 50%, the city will enter into Stage Two, meaning mandatory water restrictions.
