Republicans Pile On Romney, Looking To Block Him

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - The rivals of Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney are gathering in what is essentially his home turf to challenge the former Massachusetts governor.

The White House hopefuls are set to debate economic issues tonight in New Hampshire, a state that is practically Romney's second home. But don't expect them to stop at the economy as they
look to derail Romney's campaign.

The other candidates are signaling that they are ready with direct criticism of Romney and his record. And with the clock ticking ahead of the first nominating contests, they can no longer
afford subtlety.

In a web video, Texas Gov. Rick Perry paints Romney as inspiring President Barack Obama's national health care plan. In another, Perry says Obama and Romney are "carbon copies."
