Recent Rain Continues To Help Lake Levels

The rain continues to help lake levels. Levels has increased for the second time this week.

Lake Arrowhead level is at 55.9%, Lake Kickapoo is at 54.4%, and combined total of 55.5%.

The current lake levels are keeping the city of Wichita Falls in a Stage One Drought Watch plan for 73 days now.

Under Stage One residents are asked to voluntarily conserve water.

If levels reach 50%, the city will enter into a Stage Two drought plan, implementing mandatory water restrictions.
