Man Allegedly Steals Cattle From FFA

Nicholas Stewart of Iowa Park has been arrested in three count of livestock theft.

Police say he entered an agreement with the Ferris FFA Texas Longhorn Show Team to purchase 11 head of cattle.

Police say Stewart agreed to purchase the animals in December of 2010.

Stewart allegedly failed to pay for the cattle and when the Ferris FFA Ag Teacher and assistants approached Stewart on June 13, 2001 to retrieve their animals, they were allegedly told by Stewart that he had already sold nine of the livestock.

Stewart's bond was set for $75,000.
