Congressman Thornberry On Defense Spending Cuts

As Congress works to deal with budget cuts, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta asks Congressman Mac Thornberry on whether he favored additional cuts to defense spending.

The Congressman says if the President believes there shouldn't be anymore money coming out of the defense budget, then that is something we all should pay attention to. The President's position on defense cuts remains unclear.

The Defense Secretary says President Obama has expressed concerns about the effect of any further cuts.

450 billion dollars in cuts are already in the works.
