Drug Cartels Recruiting Texas Teens

The Texas Department of Public Safety is warning parents about Mexican drug cartels recruiting Texas high school students.

The DPS says six of the seven drug cartels have established command and control networks in Texas and are recruiting Texas students.

Last month, two Texas teens were lured to Mexico where they were kidnapped, tortured, ransomed and released.

The DPS is urging parents to sit down with their children and discuss the dangers of the Mexican drug cartels.
