Pre Trial Hearing Rescheduled For A Man Involved In A Smurfing Ring

A Wichita Falls man will head to court for his involvement in a smurfing ring.

William Strickland's pre trial hearing was rescheduled for a later date.

Strickland was charged with Possession/Transport of a Chemical with intent to Manufacture a Controlled Substance.

Law enforcement agencies say Strickland and ten other people are accused of buying more than 3,400 boxes of pseudoephedrine.

Officials say the amount seized was enough to make 19 pounds of meth, that's over three quarters of a million dollars worth of meth on the streets.
