Plenty of excitement was found in downtown Wichita Falls Saturday for the second annual Calle Ocho festival. Music, food and party goers celebrated the last day of Hispanic Heritage Month. Calle Ocho is a music and arts festival presented by the Zavala Hispanic Cultural Initiative. Several cultural groups including dance and bands provided entertainment and of course there was lots of Hispanic food available from one of several vendors.
"It's a way for the community members to get out and have some fun and enjoy culture and just eat drink and be merry," said Erica Gonzales. Hispanic Heritage Months runs from September 15 to October 15.
