High School Football Rankings Through Week 7

Windthorst Remains the lone Texoma 11-man team ranked in the latest Associated Press Top 10 poll, released Monday.

The Trojans stayed at #7 in Class A, receiving 84 votes after their 49-0 win at Archer City Friday night.

The Munday Moguls received 2 votes for the second straight week. The Trojans and Moguls will meet October 28th in Munday.

In the sixmanfootball.com rankings, Throckmorton fell from #2 to #5 in UIL 6-Man Division I after having to sit out a second bye week, with no one willing to play them.

The rest of the 6-man rankings stayed unchanged, with Crowell staying at #9 in Division I, Newcastle ranked fifth in UIL Division II, and Notre Dame #8 in TAPPS 6-Man Division II.

Crowell and Notre Dame have big games coming up this week.

The Wildcats visit #10 Strawn in their District 10-6M-Div. II opener Friday night, while the Knights will face #5 Brownwood Victory Life in a huge game for first place in TAPPS District 1-6M Div. II.

Both the Knights and Lions are currently 4-0 in district play.
