In the first year under new management Castaway Cove set record numbers for the City of Wichita Falls.
A California based amusement-aquatic management group reports the park set new records for both ticket sales and attendance this summer.
Attendance increased by 13,000 from last year and was up to a total of more than 93,000.
The profit estimate for the summer came in at about $364,000.
The group is attributing the record numbers to the long summer drought.
