The trial date is set for a man accused of killing a Wichita Falls man in Minot, North Dakota.
Charles Davis was scheduled for a pretrial hearing this morning in Minot, where he was expected to enter a not guilty plea, but he instead filed a notice of lack of criminal responsibility due to lack of mental competency.
State Attorney Roza Larson says she has not seen Davis' expert's opinion yet, so she doesn't know what Davis is basing the notice on.
Davis is accused of stabbing Donald Flowers to death in a Minot hotel back in March.
His trial is scheduled for April 23,2011.
