WFISD PSAT Too Cold To Concentrate

We're continuing to learn more about the conditions at Kay Yeager Coliseum when Wichita Falls ISD students were taking their PSAT.
Students complained they were so cold that it became a huge distraction.

Wichita Falls ISD officials say the best solution is to allow students to retake the test.
They are now working to appeal for a retest.

"Yes the National Merit did consider the special circumstances surrounding our testing environment and granted our district and students a couple of different options." said WFISD Superintendent Dr. George Kazanas.

One of the options to enter the National Merit Scholarship Corporation's 2013 Scholarship Program, is based on  the 2011 PSAT scores.
Students can also enter with SAT scores.
