Dr Pepper Game Of The Week, Week 10

We've reached the final week of the 2011 regular season, and our final Dr Pepper Game of the Week is one of the biggest rivalries in all of Texas high school football!

It's the Rider Raiders and the Wichita Falls HS Coyotes, and it's Friday night at Memorial Stadium!

Rider won last year's game 42-7, and the Raiders have won five of the last seven matchups, though more recently the teams have split the last two games.

All-time, the Raiders lead the series 28-17 with 3 ties.

This is an especially big game in the series, because it's the first time since 2004 that each team can make the playoffs with a win against their rival!

The Raiders are 6-3 overall and 3-2 in District 4-4A action, while the Coyotes are 3-6 and 2-3, but with a win the Coyotes would be in ahead of the Raiders.

Old High would be the second seed in the 4A Division II bracket if they qualify.

A Rider win would put the Raiders in the 4A Division I bracket, also as the second seed.

Old High will be listed as the home team Friday, but both teams expect Memorial Stadium to be packed.
