Payton Betts is the Week 9 Player of the Week!

Bowie's Payton Betts is the Home Zone Player of the Week for Week 9 of the High School Football season!

Payton rushed for 152 yards and two touchdowns in the Jackrabbits' 35-14 win over Iowa Park Friday night at Jackrabbit Stadium.

He edged out fellow nominees Tyler Berardi of Windthorst, Kolten Booher of Henrietta and J.T. Barrett of Rider to take home the award!

Wednesday afternoon, Newschannel 6 caught up with Payton before the team's practice to present him with his award!
