Gold-Burg Gets Revenge, Playoff Spot
Back in Week 1, the Gold-Burg Bears took a 55-8 loss in a rare non-district game against their district rival Saint Jo.
Thursday night the teams met again with the final playoff spot in District 11-6 Man Division I on the line, and the Bears got some payback.
Gold-Burg won a low-scoring, tight game 30-24 to qualify for the playoffs.
The Bears finish the regular season 3-7, 2-1 in district play, and will face Walnut Springs (7-2, 3-0) in Bi-District.
Saint Jo wraps up their season 2-8, 1-2 in district.
