Wichita Falls High School's Griffin Russell and City View High School's Danielle Wallum each signed letters of intent to play on college diamonds Wednesday.
Russell, a senior on the Old High baseball team, signed to pitch for Oklahoma State University in the spring of 2013.
He was 4-5 with a 3.27 ERA and 91 strikeouts in his junior year at WFHS, where he helped lead the Coyotes on an unlikely run to a one-game playoff for a playoff spot, where they fell to Lake Dallas.
He also pitched for the Burkburnett Blacksox travel team in the summer.
Wallum signed to catch and play first base for Mid-America Christian University, an NAIA school in Oklahoma City.
She helped lead City View to the Region I-2A Final against Callisburg her junior year.
