MSU Tries To Recover More Than A Million Dollars

Midwestern State University is trying to recover more than a million dollars because of lower enrollment.

Newschannel 6 has learned that nearly 250 fewer students and salary commitments in the Dillard College of Business has the university $1,620,000 in the hole.

The Board of Regents met Friday and came up with ideas to make up some ground, but there is still more than $400,000 to account for.

The administration will be back before the board with a complete financial model and recommendations in February.
