Some Wichita Falls junior high students got a jump on The American Cancer Society's Annual Great American Smokeout on Wednesday.
The Smokeout Campaign kicks off Thursday, in hopes of encouraging people to make a plan to quit smoking so they can quit for a lifetime.
Kirby Junior High started early Wednesday with multiple planned events, including a Smoke Scream Competition!
The students broke up by grades to see who could scream the loudest, showing off their healthy lungs. The Smoke Scream is aimed at turning the teens away from tobacco.
