Nocona Advances to State Title Game!

The #4 Nocona Lady Indians advanced to the Class 2A State Championship in Volleyball with a 4-set win over #1 White Oak!

The Lady Indians dropped the opening set, but rallied to advance by a score of 14-25, 25-19, 25-13, 25-21.

Haylee Diehl led the Lady Indians with 15 kills and 21 assists, while Allie Hackley added 12 kills and Dayna Young had 10 kills and 13 digs.

Nocona held the defending state champion Ladynecks to a .082 attack percentage in the match.

They will face #2 Poth, who defeated #3 Jewett Leon 25-21, 25-13, 17-25, 25-18 in the other semifinal, in the championship match Saturday morning at 11:30 a.m.
