The Electra Tigers fell to the Bronte Longhorns 44-26 in the Area Playoffs Thursday night in Breckenridge.
Bronte built a 16-0 lead before Electra got on the board with a Tyler Coats touchdown in the second quarter.
Electra got as close as 23-20 in the third quarter but then the Longhorns answered with back-to-back touchdowns to extend their lead to 37-20 in the fourth quarter.
Electra finishes Keith Ivy's first season as head coach at 6-6, with their first playoff win since their run to the 2006 quarterfinals.
