Prison Inmate Captured In NW Oklahoma

WOODWARD, Okla. (AP) - Police have captured an inmate who escaped from a minimum-security prison in Woodward County.

KWTV reports that Woodward police officers found 31-year-old Robert Bartholdi around 1:45 p.m. Monday.

Officials at the William S. Key Correctional Center in Fort Supply say Bartholdi was present at a 3 a.m. head count, but was missing during a head count conducted an hour later.

According to Oklahoma Department of Corrections records, Bartholdi was convicted earlier this year of possession of a controlled substance in the presence of a minor; knowingly concealing stolen property and bail jumping.

Prison officials don't know yet how Bartholdi escaped.
