Wichita Falls Police are on the search for a girl, Summer Wester, 6. She was taken from Crockett Elementary School. They say the girl's mother took the child in violation of court papers.

Sgt. Joe Snyder, Public Information Officer, said the call came in at 8:26 a.m. "We are on the lookout right now for the 6-year-old, Summer Wester, and a white female, Daniel Wester, 29, who is driving a blue Chrysler Sebring," he said. He tells Newschannel 6 there is a possible tag number of CP2-G965.

Detectives from the Juvenile Division are working the case. Snyder said investigators had checked several addresses for the missing girl, to no success.
