Update: Three Suspects Arrested For Tanglewood Home Invasion

The pretrial date for a 19-year-old man who police say broke into a home and robbed the homeowners at gun point off Tanglewood has been rescheduled. Victims say Steven Euwins and two other men broke into their home wearing masks and robbed them at gun point. Police say all three men have admitted to the crimes. Euwins is charged with two counts of engaging in organized criminal activity. His new pretrial conference date has yet to be set.

Wichita Falls Police say around 4:30 Thursday morning in the Tanglewood neighborhood in the 1800 block of Brazos, the three men broke into a house through a door left open because of the heat. Police say they stole some electronics and jewelry. A mother and a 19-year-old male were inside the home at the time. Police say the men were fully covered, wearing ski masks, all armed with weapons. Police report before the men left, they assaulted the 19-year-old. He was treated at the hospital.

    A new communications tower being proposed in Wichita Falls is raising concerns. One local business owner fears the tower will scare away visitors driving along the highway. The proposed location is currently 1212 Broad Street, near the Motel 6 off 12th Street.  The communications tower is expected to be nearly 165 feet high, and is located near several business and the overpass.

    According to the Wichita Falls Police Department, Rodney Scott Womack, 38, was driving southbound on Central Freeway around 10:45 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle.
